Our Train the Trainer IV Cannulation, Venepuncture,Phlebotomy Training programme is designed to make training more accessible, practical and scalable. It gives you everything you need to begin running your own courses with confidence, supported by live teaching, online learning, consultancy support and VeinTrain resources.
It gives you everything you need in one programme. It includes one live training day, delivered online or in person, two 1:1 consultancy support sessions, a full year of access to our Online Skills Lab, a vein set, a downloadable Clinical Competency Booklet, and a comprehensive trainer resource folder and toolkit with the resources needed to begin running your own courses.
You do not need a teaching qualification or professional registration to join. Our aim is to open up opportunities and take the pain out of training, enabling clinicians to share their skills with greater confidence. We offer different packages to suit experience level, pace and budget.
The programme follows a clear step-by-step process with videos, exercises and practical templates to support you as you learn. On completion, you will receive a VeinTrain Train the Trainer Certificate.

How it works
You can pre-book a date, or order your preferred package first and choose your date later inside the platform. Then begin your online skills lab, download your toolkit, attend your LIVE group session, and book your 1:1 support.
For some learners, the 1:1 session may be arranged earlier to help with set-up and route choice. If timings are tight, it may take place after the LIVE group session instead.
For Accelerator programmes, including TT2 and TT3, instant calendar access is available. Where timings allow, usually around three weeks before the course, you can pre-book your place. In some cases, this can be arranged within a few days.
